Hewes T.Hull

Hewes Hull is a partner of LCP Private Equity and a principal of the Fund. Hewes has over eleven (11) years of direct private equity investment experience. His most notable success has been in the organization of Lazarus Private Equity Fund I and acquiring four separate platform companies. According to Pitchbook, Lazarus Holdings' Fund I performance, as measured by IRR, is ranked in the top 5% of all buyout private equity funds started in 2004.

Prior to organizing LCP Private Equity, Hewes was a managing member of Greer Capital Advisors, LLC where he was an investment advisor to Whitecap Alabama Growth Fund I, LLC, a national venture capital group. Hewes served as a member of Whitecap Growth Fund's investment committee.

In addition, Hewes previously served as the Vice President of Transactions and Chief Financial Officer for a captive private equity group specializing in the acquisition and development of industrial manufacturing and distribution companies. In that role, he was responsible for sourcing, reviewing, structuring, financing, and negotiating leveraged buyouts of small middle market companies located throughout the Southeast.

Hewes began his career with the law firm of Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkoqitz, P.C., (formerly known as Berkowitz, Lefkovits, Isom & Kushner, P.C.) where he practiced corporate law specializing in the acquisition and divestiture of both public and private companies.

Hewes graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting (1990), from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University with a Juris Doctorate (1994), and from The University of Florida with an LL.M. degree in Taxation (1995).



Robert W. Jennings, Jr.

Rob Jennings is a partner in LCP Private Equity and a principal of the Fund. Rob has over 23 years of experience investing in and managing entrepreneurial businesses. His most notable successes have been in turning around individual companies in a portfolio environment.

Most recently, Rob served as the President and Chief Operating Office of the Collateral Companies, a financial services group headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama. In that position, he was involved in the turnaround of several companies to profitability during the transition. In each case, he acted as interim president.

Prior to that, Rob was the Chief Executive Officer and President of a captive private equity group specializing in the acquisition and development of industrial manufacturing and distribution companies. In that role, Rob focused on a turnaround of a portfolio of manufacturing, distribution and service companies. In addition, Rob was responsible for acquiring and divesting a number of companies at significant cash on cash multiples and substantial internal rates of return. Rob left after the sole shareholder of the company assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer.

In addition, Rob previously served as Vice President of Operations and Development for Osborn Investments, a small privately help development firm located in Birmingham. In that position he was responsible for sourcing, reviewing, structuring, negotiating and ultimately managing a number of private investments.

Rob began his career as a CPA with L. Paul Kassouf & Company, in Birmingham, AL. Later he left to join Warren, Averrett, Kimbrough and Marino, P.C., a large regional accounting firm also in Birmingham. While at Warren Averrett, Rob was admitted to the partnership and was elected to serve on the three person executive committee.

Rob graduated from the University of South Alabama (1978) with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting.
